no more added sugars, gums or other gross ingredients found in store bought juices!
I’ve been wanting to make my own homemade green juice for a while because many store bought options have unnecessary ingredients. Plus the juices that have smaller ingredient lists are soo expensive!
With the help of Ellie’s Best nut milk bag, I finally made my own juice and it worked so well! I previously used this to make my own almond milk which was just as easy.
If you do not like, or cannot have, any of the ingredients below feel free to swap out for a similar food as long as the ratios are the same. For example, the apple could be switched with an orange!
This recipe makes one glass of homemade green juice.
- 1 pomegranate
- 1 apple
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 slice of ginger
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/4 cup spinach
- 1/4 cup water
- Optional: 1/2 tsp maple syrup
Clean and chop up fruits & veggies. Add into blender with water (and sweetener if you choose). Blend for a minute until fully mixed. If you have issues blending, add in a little more water.
Then, pour the mixture into your nut milk bag over a large bowl and squeeze until the juice is fully strained.
Pour juice into a glass jar and let cool in the fridge. Once chilled, drink within the next day. You may need to stir the juice if it’s been sitting a while.
