free from: gluten and dairy
Who didn’t love French toast sticks as a kid?! When they had these at school I was always so excited. I’ve been trying to make more recipes that have nostalgia, which is why I came up with these Gluten Free French Toast Sticks. They are such a yummy breakfast for kids and adults alike.

Recipe Details
These are gluten free and dairy free. For the bread, I use my all-time favorite: Canyon Bakehouse. The honey white was perfect for added sweetness. However, any gluten free sliced bread will work.
This recipe for Gluten Free French Toast sticks makes two servings.
Only Five Ingredients
- Gluten free sliced bread
- Eggs
- Non-dairy milk
- Vanilla
- Salt
- Topping options: cinnamon, sugar, fruit, maple syrup
Substitutions:
The ingredients are minimal, so there aren’t many substitution options. Use any bread and milk you’d like. If you don’t eat eggs, pick a bread without eggs and use flax egg or JustEgg instead – I haven’t tried this but it should work!
If you skip the cinnamon sugar coating, they’re also low in sugar too! You could omit or use monkfruit, stevia, etc.
