free from: gluten and dairy (Low FODMAP friendly)
My mom always makes the best sugar cookies. Whenever she makes a batch, they never last long! I have wanted to try to make them gluten and dairy free for a while and we finally did it together, so I couldn’t be more excited to share these gluten free sugar cookies.

Recipe Details
These are gluten and dairy free, made with gfJules Flour. I think it is one of the easiest recipes ever. You can cut these into shapes and frost with your favorite frosting. You could also roll the dough into balls and coat in sprinkles before baking. The options are endless! Consider this a base recipe for any type of sugar cookie.
I’ve used a few different frostings, but usually make my own buttercream. I don’t have a recipe for this, but it’s just powdered sugar, vegan butter and a little bit of vanilla. Food coloring makes it extra fun too 🙂
I’ve made these gluten free sugar cookies for multiple holidays. Christmas as you can see above, and then Halloween and Valentine’s Day as seen below:

Seven Ingredients
- Vegan butter
- Cane sugar
- Egg
- Salt
- Baking powder
- Gluten free flour
- Vanilla
Substitutions:
The only non-vegan ingredient is eggs, you could try to sub a flax egg but I have not personally tested this. If you prefer refined-sugar free, I recommend using monkfruit. For grain free, you can try a grain free all purpose flour like this. Again, I have not tested these methods (yet) but based on previous use they should work. Let me know if you do try them!

I hope you get creative with these and enjoy the simplicity of this recipe. If you do try them, let me know below. I’d love to hear your thoughts and see your creations.
