In previous years, my guide guides have been heavily focused on being “tummy friendly” as so much of my journey has been centered on my gut. However, this year I expand my guide to be focused on both food and life. My 2023 Holiday Gift Guide has two sections: Liv(e) Well and Eat Well.
I hope this helps you add some goodies to your list, or gives you ideas for the wellness lover in your life.
Many of these products are made in Chicago, where I’m from, but ship across the U.S. I note each of them as I love supporting local brands. I also have met many of the owners myself and each are so passionate about what they do, which gives you all a truly amazing product.

And now onto the 2023 guide. Let me know which goodies you try!
Ora’s Amazing Herbal Skincare – this natural, gluten-free skincare company is quickly becoming my favorite. They have options for various skincare concerns, such as eczema. As someone with VERY sensitive skin, I’m constantly testing new skincare products and this is one of the few my skin likes. They have unscented options which are great if you avoid fragrances. Their makeup remover balm is seriously magic. Use code LIVWELL to save!
MY OBI – if you or someone you love struggles with painful periods, these are a LIFESAVER. It’s a belt that combines heat and vibration therapy to settle cramps. They are definitely an investment, which makes them a great gift!
CALPAK Water Bottle Bag – this gift is fashionable and functionable. Staying hydrated is so important for everyone, but especially those of us with health issues. This makes carrying a water bottle easy, and cute!
Good Wipes – you may be wondering, why would I give wet wipes as a gift? Well personally, I think they’re the perfect stocking stuffer. These aren’t just any wet wipe, these are all natural and smell lovely – truly leaving you feel refreshed. They are good for the whole body. The fragrances are all natural as well.
w&p Glass Containers – these are a great sustainable swap for your kitchen. I think they’re super cute and make a lovely upgrade for your home, all while saving the environment.
Kale My Flame Luxury Candle – these candles are made in collaboration by Kale My Name and The Scent Queens, two local Chicago businesses. They are vegan and the perfect addition to your home. I have the green jar and love it.
Every Body Eat Crackers – these crackers are gluten free, vegan and allergen free. They are a great savory snack for those with dietary restrictions, and even those without. My personal fave is the Cheese-less flavor. These are made in Chicago by two women who personally understand life with dietary restrictions, which I believe makes them extra special. And Do It Anyway Cups – these are my favorite cups! I have multiple glasses and think they are the cutest, and great quality. They’re made in Chicago as well, we love supporting a local business!
Snack TBH – their chocolate hazelnut spread is vegan, palm oil free and lower in sugar compared to similar products. It’s delicious on toast, in smoothies, or just on a spoon. Use code OLIVIAG20 to save!
World Market Ornament – this may not be actual food but I’m absolutely loving this oat milk ornament. It’s a fun and unique gift for all oat milk lovers.
No Whey Chocolate – their chocolate is vegan and top 9 allergen free. They always have a bunch of fun holiday themed chocolates, from smaller goodies to fancier truffles. There’s something for everyone!
Carolyn’s Krisps – these krisps are like a cookie and cracker combined. They are vegan and gluten-free, and have a bunch of yummy flavors. I personally love the vegan cheddar and the pumpkin spice ones, but you can’t go wrong with any flavor. This is another Chicago fave of mine (and everyone in my family!).
Happy Holidays Everyone! 🎁
